1.Prevent the fountain pump from reversing

The fountain pump should be debugged before use. During the debugging and operation, the rotation direction of the motor should be determined. The fountain pump can discharge water when it is running forward and reverse, but the water output is small and the current is large when it is reversed. It takes a long time to reverse. Can damage the motor windings.

2. Measure the power supply voltage, do not turn on the machine if it is abnormal

When the power supply voltage is lower than 198 volts and the line voltage is lower than 342 volts, the motor speed of the fountain pump will drop. When it does not reach 70% of the rated speed, it will cause the starting winding to be energized for a long time and generate heat or even burn out the winding. Conversely, excessive voltage causes the motor to overheat and burn out the windings. During the operation of the fountain pump, observe the power supply voltage value at any time. If it exceeds or falls below the rated voltage, it should stop running, find out the cause and eliminate the fault.

3. Insulation resistance requirements of fountain pumps

When in use, the insulation resistance of the fountain pump motor should not be lower than 0.5 megohms.

4. Installation of leakage control cabinet

The fountain pump works underwater, and it is easy to leak electricity and cause power loss, and even cause electric shock accidents. If a control cabinet is installed, as long as the leakage value of the fountain pump exceeds the current value of the leakage protector, the leakage protector will cut off the power supply of the fountain water pump to ensure safety and avoid leakage and waste of electric energy.

5. Avoid too frequent start and stop

Too frequent start and stop of the fountain pump will cause the motor load to start, resulting in excessive starting current and burning of the windings. Due to the large current when starting, too frequent starting will also burn out the motor windings of the fountain pump.

6. Avoid long-term overloading of fountain pumps

In order to avoid long-term overloading of the fountain pump, do not run it with excessive flow or high lift, and observe whether the current value is within the value specified on the nameplate at any time. If the current is too large, stop it for inspection. The fountain water pump cannot run dehydrated, so as not to overheat the motor and burn it.

7. Pay attention to daily maintenance

Always check whether the cable of the fountain pump is damaged, whether the joint is firm, the pump body is cracked, the rubber sealing ring is damaged or invalid, etc., and it should be replaced or repaired in time to avoid water infiltration.
