Inspection steps
1. Check whether the three-phase power supply is balanced. If it is balanced, perform the next steps.
2. Check whether the setting current of the overload protector meets the requirements of the rated current of the electric pump, and confirm.
3. Cut off the power supply and confirm, loosen the power line of the pump in case of leakage or overload.
4. Open the net cover and move the impeller to see if the impeller is stuck. If the impeller rotates smoothly, perform the next steps.
5. Use a megohmmeter with a range of 500 volts to measure the insulation resistance of the motor stator winding and the cable to the ground. After the pump is working, the insulation resistance of the pump immersed in water must not be lower than 50MΩ, and confirm. If it exceeds 50MΩ, check the setting current of the overload protection device of the closed box.
6. When the insulation resistance is lower than 50MΩ in the cold state, the electric pump should be removed from the underwater pipeline, brought out of the water, placed in a ventilated and dry place, and the water in the electric pump should be wiped dry.
7. Check the electric pump cable for damage. If it is damaged, it means that water enters the stator winding of the motor from the damaged cable, causing leakage tripping, and confirm.
8. If the cable is intact and not damaged, check whether the connection between the external cable of the electric pump and the cable that comes with the pump is intact, whether it is wrapped according to the method required in our company's manual, whether the quality of the adhesive tape is reliable, and confirm.
9. Loosen electric pump cables and external cables, use a 500 volt megohmmeter to measure the insulation resistance of the electric pump stator winding is not less than 50MΩ, and confirm that if it is lower than 50MΩ, you can cut and strip the electric pump cable lead-out line l~2m Check whether there are water drops inside. If there is any indication that the cable wrapping does not meet the requirements, water enters from the cable connection.
