    The hot water pump is a radial suction high-temperature medium transfer circulating vortex pump. 

The transferred circulating medium is liquid (water, thermal oil, etc.) that does not contain particles or fibers. It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, simple structure, stable performance, and wide range of use. It is widely used in small mold temperature control machines, boiler water supply systems, small hot oil furnaces, barrel temperature control machines and other industries.

Doing the following things can effectively extend the service life of the hot water pump:

1. Since the pump body operates at high temperatures, hinge supports should be installed on the piping during cold installation to prevent pipe displacement after heating.

2. The outlet pressure measuring point should be equipped with an interlock to stop the alarm. Otherwise, once the discharge pipeline is blocked, the pump body may be damaged easily.

3. The melt filter behind the outlet should be replaced regularly and should not be operated at high pressure or even the upper pressure limit for a long time.

4. The coupling must be thermally aligned after the pump body heats up to avoid additional torque during operation.

5. When starting the hot water pump, when there is no pressure at the outlet, do not blindly increase the speed to prevent premature damage to the shaft or bearing.

6. The speed should be increased slowly, and the front and rear pressure should not rise sharply to avoid damaging the bearings or causing the melt to block the lubrication channel.

7. When cleaning and pipetting, do not use the pump to transport cleaning fluid. The internal parts should be removed and installed after the pipetting is completed to prevent foreign matter from being mixed into the pump.

8. Regular replacement of bearings can save maintenance costs. When it is found that the amount of wear on the inner surface of the shaft or bearing is close to the thickness of the hardened layer, the shaft can be polished and used again, and only the bearings can be replaced. This can extend the life of the pump shaft by 8 to 10 years.

9. If there is a power outage or the heating medium circulation is interrupted for more than 30 minutes, the pump should be disassembled, cleaned and reassembled to avoid damage to the pump due to poor bearing lubrication due to melt solidification, cracking, etc.
