1. The water pump does not work.

①Let the buyer check whether the positive and negative poles of the water pump are reversed; what is the actual input voltage, and see if the voltage is within the normal range.

② Ask the buyer what the actual lift is.

③ Ask the customer about the size and length of the cable connecting the water pump and the board. If the length is less than 40m, it is recommended to use a standard 4mm² pure copper wire. If the length is greater than 40m, it is recommended to use a standard 6mm² or 10mm² pure copper cable. Reason: When the cable is too long and too thin, the line loss is relatively large, and finally the input voltage of the water pump is lower than the normal working voltage range of the water pump, resulting in the pump not starting.


2. Insufficient water output from the water pump

①Increase the input voltage or reduce the actual head of the pump.

②Check the water inlet and outlet of the water pump to see if there is any blockage of sediment and impurities (our water pumps are recommended to be used in clean water. dead burnt). When using it, it is recommended to wrap a layer of cloth or filter screen around the water inlet of the pump to filter impurities and reduce blockage.


3. The pump beeps for a few seconds and then stops

This kind of situation usually occurs when the solar panel is connected, and the input voltage is tested at this time. If the input voltage of the water pump is found to be within its normal working voltage range, the buyer will think that the quality of the water pump is faulty.

Actual reason: The power of the board is too small or the light intensity is insufficient. After the water pump is connected, the output voltage of the board, that is, the input voltage of the water pump drops sharply (the water pump buzzes). To detect the voltage is actually the no-load voltage of the board, and the water pump is in the self-stop protection stage.

The solution: increase the power of the solar panels.

There are many variable factors in the solar water pump system. If you encounter problems, you should consider them comprehensively.

  • Whether the quality of the solar panel is stable, 

  • whether the specifications are standard, 

  • whether there is a virtual power rating; 

  • whether the cable is standard, the material of the water pipe, pipe resistance, horizontal distance, etc. 

All have an impact on the actual performance of the water pump.
