What Is The Reason For The Deep Well Pump Not Supplying Water?

  • 1. The valve at the water inlet of the pump is not opened, or the valve port is blocked by foreign objects.

  • 2. The water pump is reversed, resulting in no water supply, or the water outlet is blocked.

  • 3. The impeller in the pump body is dropped or damaged, causing the water pump to fail.

  • 4. The water pump does not reach the required flow and head, resulting in the pump not filling the water.

When it comes to submersible pumps, I believe everyone is familiar with them. They are mainly used for important equipment for deep well water lifting. However, the submersible pump must also be operated in a standardized manner during use, otherwise there will be problems. So what is the reason for the submersible pump not getting on the water? What are the precautions for the use of submersible pumps?

Let's take a look at these two questions together!

What is the reason for the submersible pump not getting on the water?

There are many reasons why the submersible pump does not fill the water, such as the blockage of the inlet and outlet pipelines; the gas is not drained cleanly during operation without the pump; the impeller of the clean water pump is dropped or the pump shaft is disconnected; Water cannot be pumped; the installation height is too high or the NPSH is insufficient.

What are the precautions for the use of submersible pumps?

1. Do not run dry without water

First of all, do not start the submersible pump directly when no water enters, because the motor of the submersible pump is water-cooled, which is mainly cooled by the water on the surface of the motor. If there is no water, it will cause the motor to burn out. Therefore, whether it is before starting or debugging, it needs to be carried out with full water.

2. Operate within the specified frequency

Secondly, many products can now operate at variable frequency, so as to be more energy-saving, but some manufacturers produce products within a certain frequency range. Too high or too low frequency will damage the product. Of course, the submersible pump also has the lowest frequency standard. For example, the Ufu VP submersible pump can only run between 20Hz and 50Hz. If it runs below 20Hz for a long time, it will damage or burn the motor.

3. Do not start and stop frequently

Finally, the submersible pump is often used in the construction water supply or deep well water intake industry, so it is inevitable to stop or start the action during use, but pay attention to the start and stop not too frequently, let alone when it is not needed, it is still in the starting state, otherwise it will not only waste electricity, but also It will cause the motor to burn and damage.
